Al Sinani Tours proudly hosted an esteemed delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Oman for a full-day adventure dedicated to cultural discovery and sustainable tourism in Oman. The tour was carefully designed to offer an authentic Omani experience, blending natural beauty, traditional practices, and ecofriendly travel across scenic mountain villages and heritage sites.

The journey began at the famous rose garden in Jabal Akhdar, a signature destination for visitors seeking immersive and sustainable tourism in Oman. Guided by Mr. Ahmed, a local horticulturalist, the guests explored rows of blooming roses while learning about organic farming techniques and traditional rose cultivation. This visit reflected Al Sinani Tours’ strong commitment to responsible tourism and environmental awareness.

The next stop was Al-Sugra Historical Village, a charming example of community based tourism that preserves Omani heritage. Here, the delegation enjoyed a traditional lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients, fresh dates, and rich Omani coffee. Village manager Mr. Mohammed shared captivating stories that brought the culture and customs of the region to life.

One of the key highlights of this experiential travel in Oman was the visit to Bait Al Asarh, a historic rose water factory where ancient techniques are still used today. Led by master artisan Saif, the guests witnessed the time-honored process of distilling rose water using copper pots and spring water. This stop emphasized the importance of supporting local artisans and maintaining cultural heritage through sustainable travel practices. A moment that truly captured the essence of ecofriendly travel in Oman.

This memorable experience not only strengthened cultural ties between Japan and Oman but also showcased the unique value that Al Sinani Tours brings to the travel industry, by offering cultural heritage tours that prioritize environmental sustainability and local engagement.
